Manila Through My Eyes - Quick tips on learning Filipino





1. Sadly, there's a lack in written material for learning the Filipino language. Some books exist, but I saw none that is really comprehensive. It's still worth to buy a copy though if you're really serious with learning.

2. There are some free content online that can help you. Search the internet for podcasts. Sadly again, most of the podcasts and video tutorials that I've watched presents the language in formal, stuffy manner.

3. It's very, very important to enlist the help of a native Filipino speaker when learning. There's a huge lack of materials available, so by the help of someone who actually speaks the language, you can be sure you'll learn.
