Border Collie
They are intelligent and aware of their surroundings . They are used in various competions like sports , agility , obedience ,sheep dog trails and frisbee .These dogs are fast and has great stamina . They should not be trusted with non-canine pets . Even though their is many families that has cats with these dogs i would suggest them putting them together intill you are sure they like each other . The height is about 18 -22 inches and weighs about 27-45 pounds . They are not suggusted for apartment life and cant be chained up in the back yard all day . They need long walks and loves to play fetch the ball .They live to be about 12-15 years food .Need to be combed daily and they are average shedders . They are in the herding group.
