THis dog as you can see is very scary in some ways but is one fluffy loving dog that is misunderstood . These dogs are not for neat freaks partly because they drool allot. Normally these dogs wont bark until they have to do so. These dogs are for people who have a long histroy of dogs and is very patient for they have problems with learning new tricks. They are natural at guarding though so if a person tries to come in the dog will probaly scare them alway. The male dogs are up to 26 to 30 inches weighing at 165 pounds again these are averages they below or above. For the females 24 to 28 inches weighing about 165 poundds ALSO. These dogs will do fine in a small backyard but in warm weather make sure they have water and have a nice cool place to stay. They do need a daily walk and heeling pratice is suggested. They live to 10 years and are average shedders.These dogs are decedents from the dogs in greece that were highly favored by people like alexander the great . These dogs still are promoted today.
