Origin of the Jewel of the Four Souls
The Four Souls:
Aramitama - courage,
Megimetama - friendship,
Kushimetama - wisdom,
Sakimetama - love
Shikon No Tama: The balance of energies created a jewel in which Midoriko & the demons are always battling with each other - neither gaining the upper hand. The Shikon no Tama has great powers that can be used for good or for evil. The demons and humans knew this and were attracted due to that if a demon/human acquired the jewel it would enhance their power and make them unbeatable. Physically: it is a sphere made out of crystalline material prior before it was shattered. When the jewel is purified - the jewel is a light pink color, but the more tainted the soul and wishes of the person who posses it, the more the color turns to a bright black-violet.
