These years

Washington D.C. our capitol

New York City the most popular place in the USA.

We have a place in one of our states(Tennessee) called Nashville.Many singers of the genre country music come here for awards and to preform.

It's in Hollywood where all the movies, and TV shows are filmed.TV stars and movie stars live in anywhere in California(Hollywood,Malibu,etc.),Tennessee(Memphis,Nashville)And NewYork(Various places mostly New York City)

Most people come to Florida for vacation.The most popular places are:Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, and The Beaches.

Our most popular pet is the dog.

Our most popular dog breed is the Labrodor Retriver.

U.S.A's emblem is the eagle.

Orlando Bloom is a big hit actor in the U.S.A. He is famous for his pirates of the Caribean movies.

Miley Cyrus is from Franklin,Tennessee.She is not only a huge hit in the U.S.A. but ALL over the world!

The Jonas Brothers are from New Jersey.They also are a big hit all over the world.

Angelina Jolie is a very well known actress in the U.S.A.

Barack Obama is our President's name.He is our first African American president.

This is Obama's family.His wife and his two daughters.

Our population has grown alot. As you can see there are more females than males in the U.S.A.

As you can see there are more white people in the U.S.A. than any other.Which is not a bad or good thing.

The older years

Now that's it for today's history let's go to yesterday's history...

U.S.A invetors and inventions:This is Thomas Edison, he invented the telegraph.

This is Henry Ford.He invented the model T car.

Our first president was George Washington.He was a general before president.

Washington's wife was named Martha.She was the first lady.

This is the first white house.Washington didn't live in it.The 2nd president John Adams lived in it when he became president.

In the year of 1985 the titanic was finished they said it was unsinkable but on it's first journey it sunk because it hit an iceburg.

The hindenburg's crash is still unknown today...

Not too long ago on September 11, 2001 the Twin Towers were hit by planes.

We have had two major wars Civil War and Revolutionary War.The one above is the Revolutionary War,the war that gave us freedom....

In the Civil War the North and the South fought over slaves.The North won.
