Abi (UK) - 03/06/2004 : Sierra Leone is a beautiful country with beautiful people. It is just coming out a difficult period in it's history but there is a general drive to move ahead into the future. It is blessed with natural beauty and in my opinion has some of the best beaches and in the world. It also has some rare species of animals and beautiful rainforests. This country has lots of beautiful Scenery and as indeed one of the best beaches in the world. I mean it is Absolutely beautiful. You have go there to see its beauty, its beauty does not lie on its Scenery only but on its people and environment. Adriaan (Holland) - 25/04/2005 : I go to SL as often as possible because my wife lives there and I will go and live there myself a.s.a.p. after I retire. The country is at peace and people are trying to build up there beautifuill country again. Being Dutch I always look at a way to save money on about everything. I save a lot of money if I travel on a tourist charter flight to Gambia from Amsterdam and 1 or 2 days later from Gambia to Freetown (SLOK air and Bellview airlines). I also save money by obtaining my VISA from the SL High Commissionair in Gambia (Banjul) - see Lonley Planet. Paddy's is a nice place to go out in the nighttime. If you don't have a lady she is waiting for you there. In the weekends more clubs are open.
