I freaking love musicals. They're amazing. Some of the ones I listen to are Hamilton, Heathers, BMC, DEH, TBOM, TLT, Mean Girls, In the Heights, and Wicked. En mi opinión la música es muy importante porque te relaja o hasta te concentra o te desestresa, pero lo que a mi más me gusta de la música son las letras de las canciones y el ritmo. Me gusta mucho la música pop y antigua como de los ochentas. Mi canción favorita es la de your love [the outfield], odio el reggaeton porque ni siquiera es apropiado para niños ya que las letras de las canciones hablan de un tema inapropiado. |

Swinging by the music forum to see if there's anybody out there who seems to stump Spotify's automatically generated playlist algorithm to the same extent that I manage to. Here goes...
I love classic rock, grunge, alternative, new wave, some metal, K-Pop, indie, folk, jazz, and coffeehouse, and listen to all those genres frequently. I've been starting to get into Hip-Hop, Rap, and R&B more, as well, and I can swallow my pride and admit that I still listen to a couple of the same artists that I used to back in middle school.
This isn't an open challenge, nor a declaration of musical superiority...I'm just really starting to wonder if I'm the only one of my kind. lol |

And I was enthralled by music from 60-80s. My faves: Eagles (my all time fav), Carpenter, Chicago, Beatles, John Denver, Paul Simon, Art Garfunkel ('the sound of silence' is my soul) and so much amazing musicians!!! 'The sound of silence' meant the world to me, that's not exaggerated...
For newer music, I love all the soundtracks from 'Lala land' and ¡®Call me by your name'!

| I love The Beatles! I'm a big fan of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, as well, among many others that I listen to on a more casual basis. I grew up on classic rock, and I thank my parents for exposing me to such great music whenever I have the chance to. I think the vast majority of people in our generation are missing out. There's a lot of great music out now, but there's nothing like hearing Zeppelin's "Going to California" for the first time. Or the hundredth...guilty as charged. lol
