Hi, I am turning 15 in Korean age this 2008 year. I get my work permit this March from my school. I do my service hours in teaching ESL adults at this high school, I love it and they love me… When I get my work permit, I want to do some tutoring especially in Korea… I know I am fairly young to do such, because I ‘m only in 7th grade. But I was hoping if any one here would be able to answer my question…
I am not listing my email address, but please answer me on the board, I will check this every day… Thank you….
Oh, I do talk Korean, I came to America when I was in 2nd grade, it’s just that I forgot Korean A LOT…. Thanks again…

Hello!
I'm Katie. I'm 11 years old and I'm in the 6th grade. I'm looking for a class to write to of about 15. I would like to use e-mail, but snail-mail works too. I only speak English, so the class should probably know English. If you have any questions please contact me.
Thank you! -Katie

Primary school - "Summer Library Program"

I am a children's librarian in Pennsylvania. I am running a month-long program during the summer called "get a clue country club" wherein children would learn about a different country each meeting. I would love to have children from different countries write so that I could read some letters during each class about what "real" children have to say about their countries NOW. Letters could be from all ages, but they would be in the interest of 7-10 year old generally. If you are interested, please email me as soon as possible! I can only read English, but could have someone translate from Italian, Spanish, French, and German. Thank you in advance. I hope to have you respond.

Merci

Middle school - "Investigating Electronic Gadgets Inquiry"

Hi-My 7th graders watched a cd about a school in India that had 2 computers. That got them going and we decided to count up how many electronic "entertainment" gadgets we had at our homes. We divided the gadgets into categories, got average prices, class totals and then made estimates for school totals. We're looking for another class somewhere in the world to exchange information with us. Send us an email if interested

Middle school - "Group of 8th graders wishing to contact children in Lesotho, Africa"

I am a teacher in a middle school in New Jersey, USA. A group of students has just completed a fund raiser to send over $10,000.00 to Lesotho through the Ryan's Well Foundation. I am hoping to connect some Lesotho students with the students who have been involved in this project. Is there a teacher out there willing to take this on?

Primary school - "Penpals needed for last month of school"

I am currently teaching a 2nd grade class (ages 7-8) how to write letters. I felt that the most effective way to do this was to serve a purpose by writing to penpals. Should you know of a class, any age is welcome, to write us so that we may practice our letter writing capabilities, it would be greatly appreciated. I currently have 16 students. Absolutely ANY age group is welcome to write as long as they don't mind receiving letters from 7 or 8 year olds. Thank you for your time!
