Hello!
I have 9 students and want to connect them to the outside world so they can have a better understanding of how wonderful & diverse our world is. We go to school through the end of April. I teach PSR, so we are learning about Catholicism and that God loves all. Perfectly fine with connecting with any class around the world. I can fairly read Spanish, Italian, French, and a little German. Yet the kids have no second-language skills, so letters written to us in English, would be preferable at first. Merci! Gracias! Grazie! Danke :)

Middle school - "USA-FRANCE Exchange program"

Hello!

I am the school Director and teacher at a small English Academy in France.

Our students speak well English and are eager to learn. There are 15 students aged between 8 to 15, most of them are between 11-13. I am looking for a group / class of Amercian students who would be interested in learning about the French culture and share theirs with my students.

The idea is to motivate them to continue learning English by making friends from other countries. I was thinking of making short videos where they would introduce themselves and their families, show how French children live, speak about their hobbies, French habits, French Festivals... and the American students could do the same. It could be fun and very interactive!
We could also echange letters. If you don't have the same number of students is not a problem and your students don't need to speak French.

Here is the school website: atlantiqueba-carquefou.fr

Thanks,

Lauriane

They are high level English speaking and writing and would be happy to write and help with English learning for any other learners. Considering any country for making a connection. Again, only two students and not a whole class but very willing to write more than one letter.

Primary school - "Pen Pals en Springdale, Arkansas en los EEUU"

I have one class of 5th graders (approximately 15--10-12 year olds) who are eager to have a pen pal from a Spanish-speaking country. We would love to write letters mostly in English, but we will use Spanish too because we know a lot of very basic phrases.

Most of my students have never left Arkansas (our state), so it would be very exciting for them to find out about where you live, what you eat in your country, and anything else your students want to share. If your students don't write much in Spanish, don't worry! We can read some and what we don't know, we will use our resources to figure it out. These students LOVE a challenge and would be great pen pals (pen friends) to your students. If you are interested, please let me know. We are eager to start immediately! Even if you only have a small class, we are happy to partner with several groups even. :)

Hello! I teach basic Spanish to 7-10 year olds in two public IB schools in Springdale, Arkansas in the USA. My students can speak, read, write, and understand very BASIC Spanish (Novice Level), but are native or proficient English Speakers. I am interested in PenPals from a Spanish-speaking country who would like to practice their English skills while sharing information about their day-to-day lives or cultures and would be willing to communicate on a limited basis in Spanish (answering Novice level questions). We would be happy to collaborate with a school or schools with students ages: 7-12 years old. We are also open to PenPals from other countries who would like to practice Spanish at a similar level.

Cordialement,

What better way than to have them communicate with a pen pal and perhaps participate in a mutual exchange of language, ideas, and culture. We can communicate via email or letter.
