129877 - from Marianne (French Polynesia) - 2022-03-08 : "Looking for penpals to visit and welcome!" Hi! I am an English teacher in a high school in Tahiti. We will be working from September 2022 on on a 2 year project with a 4eme then 3eme class (13-15 years old). It is mainly a cultural project about our Polynesian culture, and we extend it to the English language too. We would like to find a class for a pen pals exchange first, that hopefully we will welcome at some point in Tahiti and go and visit. It will be much better if this class studies French obviously. And even better if the class comes from Hawaii as it would be perfect for the Polynesian side of the project too. Another option could be a class from either Los Angeles or San Francisco where we can travel easily to from Tahiti. I hope we can find teachers who would be as motivated as We are for this exchange!
