: "global email list"

I am teaching world literature to tenth grade students in North Carolina, USA. I would love to have several different countries/cultures/continents for my students to email. I have 60+ students so they will likely collaborate in groups to email each country on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.
Thanks!

Hello, Justice!

My name is Katherine and I am an English teacher at a boys high school in South Korea. My students are all in their junior year of high school (mostly 16 to 17). They have all been studying English since their first year of middle school, but the levels still vary a bit -- some students are quite advanced and others are low-intermediate. However, I am confident that communicating with students from English-speaking countries will be of great benefit to them! They are all very interested in students from around the world and are extremely interested in other languages and cultures! I have around 50 students who would be available for exchanging letters. My school has specifics for a pen pal exchange that I would have to follow, and one of those particulars is writing two e-mails a month. If you think your students would like to exchange e-mails with my students, then please contact me at katherinemwelch@gmail.com, and I will be happy to arrange more details with you!

I hope our students can engage in cultural and language exchange!!

Katherine

If you are interested, please let me know 1) how proficient your students are in English, 2) how many letters you would like back, and 3) which email address/es to send them to. I will assign a group of students to work on an introductory letter for each email that we will send out September 4.

Thank you,
Justice Mansour
