: "Christmas Around the World and other Holiday Traditions"

Hi, I am the technology specialist at a school in central Florida (USA) looking for classrooms around the world who would like to take part in our project. In December, our seven 2nd grade classes (7-8 year olds) will be learning about Christmas traditions and celebrations around the world, as well as, other holidays that are celebrated during this time. We are looking for classes from other countries that would like to connect with us and teach us about your Christmas traditions, and we would like to teach you about our traditions and celebrations.

We would really like to connect using Skype, but if timezones won't allow it we could share videos, emails, blogs, etc.

my name is Miri and I teach English as second language to 5th and 6th graders. In Israel we celebrate Hannukkah but some of my pupils (who come from Russian families) celebrate Cristmas.
I hope we can make some kind of connection

Hi Suzanne,
I am currently teaching individual children within a school for learning support in Kildare in Ireland. I am teaching one 8 year old child who I think would be very suitable for this exchange. I could also ask his class teacher If she would be interested in becoming involved in whole class emails.
