: "Looking to expand global awareness"

Hello! I teach 19 sixth grade students (ages 11-12) in a small Pennsylvania suburb. My students would love to have international pen pals in order to practice writing skills as well as to learn about other cultures around the world. Email communication would probably be best, but we are also willing to send some letters via "snail mail." We are looking forward to meeting some new friends around the globe!
Lisa

I am Yolanda Mtimkulu from South Africa. I am 11 years old and in seventh grade.I am originally from Swaziland and speak English, Zulu, Swazi and Afrikaans ( which is a bit like Dutch from Holland). My hobbies are skipping, reading, swimming and watching USA programmes like Jessie, Lab Rats and Oprah Winfrey Network. I also like playing with my Barbie dolls and PSP.

When I grow up, I want to be an actress or archaeologist. My email address is sindiswamtimkulu@hotmail.com

hello,
are you still looking for penfriends? I'm teaching English in France and I have a nice group of 14 boys and girls aged 11 who would like to write to their penfriends about their family, their school, their hobbies, their continent. Some of them can have two penfriends as you have 19 of them as i understand. i'll be interested both in snail mails and email exchanges. Hope to hear from you soon,
All the best,
Viviane,

Hi,
I own a language school in Greece and I have some students who would love to communicate with kids from the USA. They would like to exchange letters or postcards because it is more personal.
If you are interested, send me an e-mail so we can start the project as soon as possible.

Look forward to hearing from you
Mina
