75734 - from Mary (USA) - 2013-08-14 : "YOUNG PENPALS" Hi. I am looking to start a penpal relationship with a class of four five, or six year olds. I have 17 four and five year olds in my class and even though we teachers would be the ones (at least the first half of the year) writing as the little ones dictate, I know it would be a wonderful experience to be penpals with a class from another part of the world!

I have 23 children in my class, and their converse and write in English quite well. We are doing a very short unit on letter writing. I thought it would be very nice if the children could correspond with someone from a different country for various reasons and get a real life experience of snail mail. Thank You Sonam

I think this kind of relationship would be a good experience for them... However, it may be impossible for my pupils to whrite in English... So, I will have to translate, and my English is always not very well. Do you speak french a little?
