This term we are doing a project looking at rural and urban places in the UK and we would love the children to have someone to share this with and maybe explore the same in another country. The students are between the ages of 8-9. We start the school year in two weeks on August 19 but September would be great to get them settled in and explain to them what the pen pals project is. When exactly do you start and know the names of the kids? I just don't have enough for 50 students but maybe some can have two pen pals? What do you think?

I am really interested in having a partnership letter communication with your students. I am going to be the teacher of two groups of 10-11 year old students (50 students , 25 in each class). Their level of English is not very high but this can help them to improve their writing level and also to know more about the American culture. Our school year starts in September.
