Hello! We are looking for penpals for my 2nd grade class, 7-8 year olds. We would like to find penpals from another state or country. We only speak English so it would have to be in English. Please let us know as it is late in the school year and would like to begin immediately.

Hi Lori, that's great. We would like to write individual letters to practise our writing if that's good for you. We are a 2-form entry school so we have 59 pupils in our year group. Is there any chance of getting another class involved so that each child can have a penpal?

If not, your children can write to mine and I can try and find penpals for the other class.

Hi Lori, I am a year 3 teacher (7 - 8) in a multi-cultural primary school in London. We too are looking to write to pen-pals aged 7 - 9 in another country. If you are interested let me know. We also want to start asap. We are doing letter writing next week.
