I'm an American teaching English in Germany, and I'm looking for a group of penpals for 15 kids, grades 1-4, who are in the after-school program where I work. Their level of English is pretty low (although it varies from kid to kid), but I'd be helping them pretty intensively. They've all committed to this project until at least Christmas, and I'm looking for penpals who would also be willing to write pretty regularly. We could also maybe do video letters, little gifts in the mail, or other special things...we'll see! If you're interested, please let me know!

I am also sorry for not understanding English but I do not think the language should be a handicap for our trade since that will be a great benefit to our children in the classroom. There is an option in Google for translation into all languages so I think we could understand. I speak English but my level of English is weak. I am looking to improve. I think in the coming days I will speak better. And this correspondence will be a source of motivation for me to learn more. I can assure you that we will communicate well with no problem. Tonight I will not be long but next time; if the opportunity arises I would try to be wider in the field of education in Africa specifically in Burkina. J'ai vu votre annonce et je suis intéresser par la correspondance scolaire. Je tiendrai une classe de CP2 la rentrée prochaine dont l'âge de mes élèves sont compris entre 08 ans à 10 ans. Unfortunatly, I can't answer you back directly at your email adress beacause it doesn't work since my box mail, I don't konw why :( But, I would love too to have your students as pen pals! My school year begin in the first week of september 2012, and finish on the end of june 2013. My oldest pupils are 5-6 years old as your students, so that could be really grate to exchange many things with you and your pupils! They just started english language, so, first, letters will be short, but with lot of drawings, and little french things, books... I think that could be great to send each other, things that they could permit pupils to discover our own countries. I hope you understand what I write, because it's a bit hard for me to explain everything I want in english! I really hope it's not too bad!! But thanks to our future mails, I'm sure I will improve my english! If you want to, I can send you pictures of my school, of me, of the place I live and I work... And I would love to have pictures of your school, your students... and other informations about you! So don't hesitate to ask me whatever you want, it will be a pleasure to answer you! We're living in France, near Switzerland and Alpes'mountains in a place called Haute-Savoie. We could mail letters, or emails... If you are interested, write back soon!
