: "Our students want to connect with others students and learn about the world!!!!"

Our low income, high poverty students want to learn about the world. This gives our students a chance to learn about the world that they may or may not ever be able to visit. I am looking for teens that our students can write to and become friends with and who each one can teach the other about the world and how it is in other places. We are a large school in a urban area that faces high crime and low parental involvement, this gives our children something positive to gather knowledge of the world.

I would love to have my English students that are a Junior in high school write to your students. We are a VERY rural school in South Dakota and it would be great for my students to connect with your students because of the drastic differences within their geographic and economic environments. I think it would be a very neat opportunity for my students to connect with students in an area of the United States that they might not ever visit. I want them to broaden their cultural and environmental knowledge of the United States, while maybe making some really good friendships and gain knowledge of letter writing. I hope to hear back from you SOON.
Thank you,
Ms.Abby

Hello Tracey,

I'm an English teacher in a vocational school in a rural small town in the east of France. My students are between 16 and 18 and we're looking for penpals to improve their English and share cultural experiences. Our school faces low involvement from parents too, so I think it would be interesting to exchange through emails, a blog and snail mail... Would you like correspond with us : I have 66 students who want to find a penpal...Please let me know asap if you're interested. Looking forward....Best regards
Magali

I\'m an English teacher in Turkey, with students of 4th, 6th and 7th grades, 10 - 13 ages. I would prefer pen friendship first by letters, because all of these children haven't got internet at home, and it would be a multidimensional, more beautiful, and effective experience for them. Then they can communicate in class where there are computers.

Kind regards
Mrs Sukran Kaldan

Hi I'm highly interested in exchanging with your students (mail/skype..). I teach in a lycee near paris, my students are from 15 to 22, and they don't know much about the world so I would like to broaden their perspective. Let me know if you're still interested !
