I'm an English teacher in a french middle school ( age 11-15) and i think a letter/email exchange with pupils from foreign countries would be an eye opening experience for my pupils. I would prefer pen friendship first by letters, because all of these children haven´t got internet at home, and it would be a multidimensional, more beautiful, and effective experience for them. My students want to write to students that are in another country because they want to know about a different culture. Students need to converse almost daily, via e-mail, so that students may respond efficiently. The students are in middle school so they are approximately 13-14 years old and I have approximately 25 students. Will this situation work for you?
