| Hi,
My name's Juliette. I teach 24 CM1 kids (9-11 years old). Our school is located in France, in Rhône-Alpes, between Lyon and Genova.
I'm looking for an american class to pen pal with. My kids have been learning English for a couple years. They can't speak very well yet but I can help them to tell what they want and to understand your messages.
Actually,I'm looking for a way to have them understand the differences between UK and the USA (it's not so easy for them),to get curious into the american way of life, to know more about it than the clichés from TV.
I also want them to get good reasons to communicate in English,to exchange games we do in class, to explain how we learn, what their region looks like, and so on...
During the first part of the school year, I'm not too interested into having each of the pupils to communicate with one pen pal. I don't think they are ready for it yet. But after a while, we can see how they progress and they feel about the exchange.
We start our school year in September and end it in July (end of June, beginning of July).
If you're interested, you can e mail me a message: j.durandet-abouba@orange.fr
Have a nice day,
Juliette |
