Middle school : "Lots of students!"

Hello! I teach sixth grade social studies in an urban middle school in St. Louis, Missouri. I am hoping to have my classes (totaling about 100 students) to write to pen pals in other states or in other countries. We would like to do a combination of snail mail and e-mail if possible.

Hello!
I read your ad and believe we can make the perfect pen pal match for our students!

First I would like to give some more information about my school: Sint-Ritacollege is a large secondary school near Antwerp in Belgium. There are approximately 1500 students in our school. I am searching for an international partner for 3 classes of mine, each filled with 24 14-15-year old pupils. I teach them English 3 hours a week. Their proficiency of English is diverse: for most of them the level is pre-intermediate, some have a higher level.
My goal is to let the pupils come into contact with native speakers of English through letters. They can get to know each other, share interests and hobbies and get to know each other's culture.
If this sounds interesting to you: don't hesitate, let's get the communication started!

Hello,

I am an English teacher in Germany. I think it would be a brilliant experience for my class to exchange e-mails with students from other countries. During the next school year we will talk about the USA, therefore it would be great to write e-mails to students who are actually living in the USA. I think that writing "real" letters will be a bit difficult due to shipping time, but maybe you are interested in an e-mail exchange between our two classes. May students are in 8th grade (ages 13-14).

Hello Becca
My name is Gudrun and I teach at English-Corner, which is a small Language School of my own in Germany. I'm interested in getting pen friends for my students. We'd like do snail mail. I usually collect the letters and send them by snail mail.
The German students LOVE hearing about foreign students. The students that would be participating in the exchange program would be 11-12 years old, 3 boys and 5 girls.
Please contact me if you are interested in being a "pal" class with one of my very small classes.

Hello! I'm French and I work in a little village between Lyon and Grenoble, in the south East of France. This year, I've already worked with a colleague in Ireland and I'm looking for other pupils because she's got only 30 pupils and we've got around 120 pupils in our school.
I'm an English teacher and we've worked on a lot of documents : we sent mails, e-mails, photostories (diaporama with powerpoint), movies...We wrote in French AND in English...
Next year, I'd like one penpal for each of my students...If you agree, it would be great!!
Waiting from your answer...
Noémie.
