Middle school : "Letters to Japan"

Hello,
I am a speech therapist at California School for the Deaf in Riverside, CA. My students would like to write letters to some middle school students in Japan to let them know we are thinking of them amidst the devestation. Anyone interested. I have about 40 students. I would need a mailing address for the letters in Japan and possibly names of students. No reply would be necessary, but could be appreciated :)
Thank you
Ashley Renslow

Hello,

I am an ESL teacher in Iwate, Japan. This was one of the hardest hit areas in March.

We would love to receive your letters, and we would respond to them.

Please contact me if you are interested.

Cheers,
Paul

Hello

I live in Hiroshima Japan as an English teacher for junior high school students. There ages are from 12ish to 15 years of age. They are extremely interested in communicating with other kids from other countries. They have so much interest it`s hard to manage. If you are still looking for a school and and would be interested in a language exchange via internet mail that would be great. Snail mail is fine too. We do have access to an school email system, and I would be extremely happy to oblige in this opportunity for your students and mine.

our school website is here ( http://www5.pf-x.net/~hatsukaichi2007/index-p.html). We are about 20 minutes located outside of the city center of Hiroshima. We are in Hatsukaichi City.

If you are interested please contact me as soon as possible so we may start this language exchange.

Warmest Regards from Japan,
Benjamin.

Hello,
My name is Bonnie Elliott. I have just started a Facebook Page called Dear Japan where I am collecting letters written by people to the people of Japan. I was born and brought up in Japan and my mother's side of the family all live in Japan. Although I currently live In NY my hope is to get the letters to the people of Japan by sharing them in an open group and on a website.
Currently, Japan has a gasoline shortage making it near impossible to get any mail to the hard-hit areas. Bsasic supplies are being prioritized, understandably, but I believe in the power of words and how uplifting they can be.
I am also working with a group of friends in Japan who can read the letters aloud on the radio in Japan.
If you are interested, please email me. I would love to read, share, and help spread your students' message to the people of Japan.
Thank you so much.
