36997 - from Rita (USA) - 2010-10-17 High school : "Searching for Italian High School for cultural exchange 2012" Hello, we are a school in rural West Virginia (not too far from Washington DC) and are looking for a high school (preferrably in the rural northern part of Italy. We can travel for two weeks over Easter;Italian students can come in the late summer or fall (or whenever they wish). We have 12 years of successful exchanges with several schools in northern Italy and are now looking for a new school. Each year we have a group of students going to Italy and receive the Italian students the same year. Please contact me if you are interested.

My students would like to correpond with English speaking students and I think your ad is the one we were looking for. I have classes with students of different age, all of them are very good students wanting to improve their English and above all to know students of all over the world especially American students. . Our idea is to start a correspondence and then to exchange hospitality. Avola is a very nice seaside resort in the south of Sicily, it has 35.000 inhabitants and is surrounded by a beautiful landscape and very interesting Greek and baroque towns.
