Cat : "Help! My cat is depressed"

 My cat, Doritos, is depressed after I had to give away a little kitten (Jinu) I rescued from the streets. My parents weren't so fond of having another pet (we have 2 dogs and 2 cats) so I was actively looking for a home for the little one. Problem is that Doritos got used to having the kitten around. He took care of it, played with it, they even slept together. While Jinu is now settle with a new family, Doritos is really depressed. Now Doritos is sleeping a lot, not eating much (very unlike him, for that fluff usually loves munching kibbles) and I am getting worried –it's been almost 2 weeks.
Any ideas of how to help him? I'm truly worried.
