High school : "Echange d'activités"

I would like to start exchange activities with francophone students ages 15 through 18, who may be studying english. Our high school is located in long island, New York. I would like to start with writing or emailing, video conferencing/skype and possibly develop a reciprocal exchange program between our two schools. You may visit our school at http://www.gardencity.k12.ny.us/

Hello,

My name is Maria and I'm an English teacher in France.

I came across your ad on the Students of the World website, and would be interested in setting up an exchange between our schools if your offer is still standing.

Our school is a private Catholic school situated in Amiens, in the north of France. We have students aged 2 (kindergarten) to 18.

The exchange I would like to set up would be for a small group (approximately 15 students) of 9th graders (aged 14-15).

We've had an exchange with a school in Tennessee until 2015 but due to low numbers of students on their side, we have been compelled to put an end to it.

Historically, our area offers a variety of places to visit: the capital is only an hour away; the D-Day landing beaches are not so far either.

Amiens itself attracts tourists from all around the world who come to visit our Cathedral!

I know our students' families would be more than pleased to host your students while you're visiting us in France, and it would be a great opportunity for our students to be hosted by an American family during their stay in the USA.

Please let me know if you are interested in this project, classes start again on September 1st here. Hoping to hear from you soon!

Regards, Maria Cabral Gonçalves

Kindly,

Have a nice day !

hi, i've just seen your ad, i'm deeply interested, i know you posted it a long time ago, but i hope you are still interested. i teach English in a high school in a small town in the middle of France. in our school we have a school project called 'immersion" so we sent some of our students to a foreign country like the USA, Norway, Spain and so on and they go to school with their penfriens, they do some sightseeing too. they talk a lot thanks to skype, or they chat on facebook with their penfriends. so if you are interested, email me, i'd be glad to organize something with you and your sturdents. You may visit our school at http://escy.net

Hi there!
Are you still looking for a partnership with French speaking students? I am an English teacher and I teach 15 to 18 years-old students in a French lycée. We are currently looking to establish a partnership with an Amerian High School that could lead to a class exchange.
Let me know if you're interested.
Regards.
Ghislaine.

I would be interested to start an exchange program with your school. I teach english to students aged 15 to 20. They are highly motivated and keen to exchange and discover different cultures. We already have a exchange program set up with other schools in England and it could be great to all work together. Looking forward to hearing from you, vanessa:vanessa.coombe@mfr.asso.fr

Hello! I'm a teacher of English in Brest (Brittany, France) and my 2nde and 1ère students (aged 15-17) would like to correspond with American penfriends. We could also be interested in an exchange and organize visits both in France and the U.S.
If you are interested, you can contact me at the above e-address. Thank you for your reply, Jeannine

I am deeply interested in your project. I teach english in a French 'Lycée' which means I have students between 14 and 18.
We have a section called 'Euro section' which is based on language and science. There are about fifty pupils and they would be really happy to correspond with English speaking pupils. Of course, if other means of communication can be used, or if we manage to organize a real exchange in the long run, we would be delighted.

Sincerely yours
