: "Looking for pen pals for my classroom"

Hello,

I am a 2nd grade classroom teacher and looking for pen pals for my students. I also teach a 3rd grade enrichment group. We would love to learn about different cultures and make new friends! We are also interested in sharing our culture with you.

Hi! my name's Miriam, I come from north of France and I am a primary school teacher. my pupils are between 10 and 11 years old; I would be very happy to make a correspondance with american pupils because we are teaching the american way of life this year. we could send letters or mails and pupils could improve their english (so am I ...)
(In february, I went to NY city and I very fall in love with USA!! It would be a real pleasure!!

Hi Laurie
I am a Year Three teacher (7-8 year olds) in a school on the Isle of Sheppey, England and would very much appreciate a class for my children to become penpals with. The school is in a fairly deprived area and i feel that writing to a friend would give my children the motivation and purpose to write, which in turn will progress and hopefully develop their skills.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you

Kate Turner

My name is Melissa Gethner and I am student teaching at Lynn G. Haskin
Elementary School in Sandwich, IL. As a part of my unit plan I would
like the children to understand that the world is larger than their
town, so I thought one way I can do that is by having the children
write to pen pals in another state. If you are interested please let
me know and we will set something up!
