Teacher : "I wanna be teacher too!"

Hi guys~ I'm from South Korea and I attend Seoul women's university in capital of Korea. I'm studying mathmatics and security.
I like english and music more but my parents don't wanna choose them for my major.
So I just follow my parent's opinion but now I regret that I chose my major because it doesn't seem to fit to me. I'm junior so I graduate from college after 1years. Do you think I should quit a college or follow my parents? What should I do... I wanna listen your opinion.

I do not think u should change ur major.....only 1 year ....maybe u should think about that realistically.U did not change that from ur first grade to third grade,that means there r some special problems here.....

I agree that you should follow your current choice because you have only 1 year to finish. It seems suitable to follow your parents' advice because they have knowledge and experiences. After completing this course, I think it is not late to learn what you want, such as music and English. I love learning them too.

Screw your parents and do what makes you happy. Who cares if they are mad at first because they will get over it.

Hello Aurora! How are you? I read your thread about whether to change your major to English and music. I don't think you should change it, but I do think you should pursue in a major that you really like. It's important that you respect your parents and the advice they give you but to also do what you really like as well. So, I think you should finish college and then you could pursue a major in music, English or both, and then you can do something that you really like! Best of luck! -Amy ^-^
