High school : "Montana Students Looking for PenPals from Around the World"

Hello, I am an English teacher in a small, rural, mountain town in Montana. I teach approximately 80 students between the ages of 12 and 18 (grades 7 -12). I am looking at establishing penpals for students mainly through snail mail with the possibility of using email and internet at a later date. I want my students to learn about other cultures, other students and their interests, as well as learn to be good communicators in the process. If you are a small group or large, I'm willing to work with you and your school. I hope to establish some teacher-friends as well along the way. Get in touch with me. The kids and I are excited about making new friends.

Oh, one more thing. I'm taking a group of students over to Italy, Switzerland, and France this summer for a tour of these wonderful countries and those particular students would be really excited to establish some penpals in those countries as well (even though, none of them can speak any of those languages).

Hi there, I work as an ALT teaching English to high school students in Japan. The students age range between 15 - 18. I just saw your add and would love to start a correspondence between our schools. My Japanese students are seeking English speaking pen pals to practice their English as well as share their culture and learn about other cultures. I have a group of 14 students willing to get started right away using snail mail. Please drop me a line if your students are also interested in Japanese culture.

Best Regards,
Japan
