Primary school : "Pen Pals Wanted to Learn More About Our World!"

Hello! I teach 4th grade (ages 8-11) in Wilmer, Alabama, USA. We are located right on the Gulf of Mexico. (Hurricane country!) We would love to learn about a different culture, and share ours with you. It doesn't matter to us if you are within the USA or outside. Let me know if you are interested. I'm teaching English in one of the schools in the city of Surgut in Sibiria, Russia. I have 4 groups of students of the 5th grade,aged 10-11, who are eager to write to pen pals. I think it would be a good motivation in studying the language.

Hi Rachel,
My name is Sandra Klement, I'm an English teacher in the little country of Austria / Europe. My 13 students in the 1st grade this year (aged 10-11) are very ambitious and enthusiastic concerning writing. We started writing short texts and they're doing quite well!
I started penpalling at the age of 12 and it's still wonderful for me to receive the letters of my friends. I told my students about this and now they also want to give it a try.
It would be great to get in contact with you, maybe we could start with a letter for the whole class.
I'm really looking forward to hearing from you.
