I am looking for schools in rural and suburban US communities to snail mail with. It will provide my class an opportunity to make new friends. practice their writing skills and learn about communities different from their own. Please let me know if you are interested. My first graders are bilingual in Chinese and English. Only minor inaccuracies due to English is their second language. I hope to find a dedicated teacher willing to team with me to begin a pen-pal relationship with 28 bright young minds. The students are some what even in gender, however that is not so imperative when pairing the writers together.
