: "Seeking Pen Pals for September..."

Hello. My name is Jessica, and I teach 7th grade in the United States (in New Jersey). We have just finished school for the year. However, I am hoping to launch a pen pal project in September with my new students. They will be 12 - 13 years old. I will have 5 classes of 20 students. I would like them to have a chance to learn about cultures around the globe and maybe even different parts of the United States. I am looking for pen pals who can write in English. I will using this project for a writing task. I look forward to hearing from you.

I have just read your message because I am looking for about 50 English speaking students to email mine. I am an English teacher in a school in Campobasso, a town in the center of Italy. If you haven't found all the penpals for your students you can get in touch with me to plan the best way for starting this experience. I consider penpalling a good chance for students to know other people, cultures and languages.

Hi! My name is Angie. I teach 9th grade Language Arts in West Virginia (USA). I have 3 classes of 30+ students (each class). We are from a very rural area and would LOVE to have the opportunity to learn about other countries (English speaking) or other states in the USA. My students are age(s)14&15. I think they would really enjoy communicating with students from different backgrounds & making new friends :)! We would prefer to do this through letter format. je préfère continuer en français à cause du manque de vocabulaire!

je suis très intéressé par votre proposition et espère qu'il n'est pas trop tard
je ne peux malheureusement vous proposer toute une classe quoi que je peux en parler à mon prof d'anglais à la rentrée, je peux si vous voulez bien, discuter sur msn ou par email... avec un ou plusieurs de vous élèves.

je pratique l'anglais depuis presque 6 ans, mais j'ai cependant, encore un peu de mal

j'aimerais donc trouver un ou plusieurs correspondants sérieux et c'est en lisant votre annonce que je me suis dis que c'était sans doute une bonne idée. je pourrais ainsi m'améliorer en anglais et eux en français. je suis aussi intéressé par les échanges.
