21903 - from jessica (USA) - 2007-10-30 Middle school : "looking for french speakers, students who are soccer players" I am a French teacher here in EL Paso, Texas USA on the border of Mexico. I teach about 200 students between the ages of 12 and 14. Most of my students speak Spanish and English fluently and they love to play soccer. I teach both boys and girls. I also have students who would like penpals from Brazil or Japan or anywhere else in Europe. We would like to hear from anyone who has a different culture!!!

My students (both male and female, 12-13 years old) asked me to help them to find pen pals form the USA. They all like soccer and it would be great if they could practice their English with american students interested in soccer! I can send you a list of names and preferences if you want!

My students are 15 years old, they aren't very good in English but are motivated to progress. In France soccer is the most popular sport and youngs are fans of top players. We can talk about music, sport, school, culture, and hopes for the future. We want to know your rich culture, especially because we are studying the USA in geography this year!
