Hi! My name is Alana and I'm a French teacher at a middle school in the USA. I'm interested in having my students practice their French through e-mail/snail-mail exchange and even video conferencing, if possible. I have 145 students consisting of 56 11 year olds, 49 12 year olds, & 40 13 year olds. My students are just beginners, so if your students know some English that would work well. I am very interested in your proposition.
I'm teaching in a French collège and the kids are pretty hard to motivate because learning English seems so vague to them. I am certain that if they have penpals to correspond with, they would really be motivated because it would all come so real to them. I have one class of "cinquième" 25 students (12-13 yr olds) and one class of 4eme (13-14 yr olds). Please let me know if you are interested. Our school is in Brunoy which is 20 kms south of Paris.
