Middle school : "Middle School Penpals (From the USA)"

Hi! I am a Reading teacher in Florida in the United States. I have 5 classes of 8th grade students ages 13 and 14. We are reading a novel this year about penpals called I Will Always Write Back and I wanted to have them write to penpals from another country to more fully understand the significance of the novel. The novel is about a girl from Pennsylvania and a boy from Zimbabwe, Africa and their 10+ year friendship that started through a penpal program in school.
