130554 - from Jan (USA) - 2022-10-26 Primary school : "A Purpose to Write" Hello We are looking for a very small classroom that has no more than 10 students. We are a small, behavioral support class and my students would love the opportunity to write to students from a different country. I, as their teacher, think it would be a great motivator to write in general. If you are interested in this for your classroom, please let me know. We are in Rincon, Georgia, USA, which is located near the old city of Savannah, Georgia.

130672 - Reply from Sara (Great Britain) - 2022-12-21 Hi Jan I have a class of 8 (soon to be 9) Year 5 (Grade 4) students with Social Emotional Mental Health needs. They can be reluctant writers but they always have heaps of questions about other countries! We are focussing on in/formal letter writing in the next term so it would be great to have real pen friends for them to write to. We are 5 hours ahead of you, so it might be possible for us to arrange an occasional video call too if that is of interest?
