Primary school : "Pen Pals from sunny Los Angeles!"

We are located in sunny Los Angeles and looking for international pen pals for the upcoming year. I have done this project for 12 years now, and we have had pen pals from all over the world. We send written letters and learn about new friends as well as new cultures.
We have two classes of grade 5 (age 10-11). One class has 19, one has 20. We have 39 students total. Thank you! :)

I am in a primary school in France (near to Bordeaux), there are 26 childrens in my class, aged 9-10 years old. We are interested in writing letters or mail with other English pupils. It could permite to them to learn English and also other cultures.

Dear Marie,

I've got a very creative group of 5th graders. The school? Anna-Schmidt-Schule in Frankfurt (founded in 1886). 90% of children were born in Germany and speak/write in English quite well. They're into music and arts. In my class they are indoctrinated (by me) to like the Beatles.

I myself am Dago Schelin... I'm actually from Brazil... moved to Germany about 10 years ago... teach English and Music... got a PhD in media studies, make films, songs in a school context (and elsewhere). I'm also a Montessori fan.

We'd be thrilled to have the chance to get to know kids from the USA and to share infos and personal experiences from our side.
