Primary school : "Penpal for elementary school students"

Hello,

My name is Sheliza Gajadhar, I am a school social worker from New York,USA. My elementary school which is located in the Bronx is currently looking to have a penpal program for our students who are between the ages of 8-10 years old. The purpose of the penpal program is to have our students expose to different cultures and students from around the world. Or students are mainly English speakers and would like to communicate and share their hobbies. I believe students who are exposed to different environment outside of their own can learn so much from other cultures. I am pretty much open to any countries who’s students are willing to interact and learn about the students from my school and more about New York. Hello, I'm a primary school English teacher from Italy. I am looking for English speaking penpals for my pupils: a correspondence with native speakers would be great! Their level of English is basic. They're about 80 kids from 8 to 11 years of age. Let me know if you're still interested for the next school year (starting September 2021).

I am a Parent Teacher Helper at an elementary school in Los Angeles, CA and we have approx 55 3rd graders that are English speakers and ready to learn more about kids in different parts of the world/country. We would be interested in exchanging penpals in time for Valentine's Day letters! Thanks!
