|
Hello! My name is Esteban Anaya and I am a student teacher in a fifth grade class at an elementary school in Guadalupe, Arizona. This is locacted in a Natice American Indian community on the outskirts of Tempe-Phoenix, Arizona.
My class has been selected a one of four in out district to model how teachers and students can integrate technology into the curriculum. The class has been given digital/video cameras, a SmartBoard, and personal laptops for each student's use. My students are beond joyous a this opportunity, and we are implementing technology in every way we can imagine.
One way my children are expanding on their writing skills is through e-mail wih each other and with a wonderful assortment of e-pals. Our hope is to be able to share ideas, projects, and cultures with children globally. If you and your class, or another teacher at your school, would like to become e-pals with us, please write bcak and we can make plans to share cultures and friendships.
