Primary school : "In search of Australian pen pals for 5th grade"

I'm a 5th grade teacher looking for some students to have for pen pals. Part of my curriculum is teaching the northern and southern hemispheres. My students can't get their heads wrapped about the opposite seasons and that it's summer time in Australia for Christmas! What a wonderful experience our students could have by connecting and sharing their different cultures, but also seeing they have a lot in common as well! Please consider us! I have 80 students in all (the whole grade level) but could work with one class if needed. Thanks so much and Merry Christmas! |
