116633 - from Ivih (USA) - 2017-07-07 High school : "Recherche échange classes" Salut, Nous sommes un lycée public dans la zone de New York. J'ai fait un échange linguistique avec un lycée dans le nord de la France depuis 10 ans. Mais malheureusement le projet n'a pas été voté pour l'année scolaire prochaine. Donc je suis à la recherche d'un établissement scolaire (lycée) avec lequel nous pourrons continuer cet échange. Nous pourrons vous héberger Septembre -Décembre 2017 et vous pourriez nous héberger en Mars ou Avril 2018.(10-14 jours). 25 élèves maximum Merci de bien vouloir me contacter si vous êtes intéressé

I am currently the Department Head of IBS International School in Aix en Provence. We find ourselves in the same situation because our annual trip to England was unfortunately not voted through for this school year (as it always had been) and we find ourselves with very disappointed families who were looking forward to their much-awaited trip this school year. J'enseigne à différents niveaux de classe mais mes élèves ont entre 15 et 19 ans. Je suis très intéressée par ce type de projet. Cependant, l'année scolaire venant à peine de commencer (les premiers cours ont lieu demain!), je dois encore déterminer laquelle de mes 4 classes de Seconde et Première serait la plus adaptée (et méritante) pour un tel projet. I'm from France in the centre of Paris a very nice school and I teach English to 13-15 years old students (=classe de 3ème en collège et 4ème ). I would like to find penpals for my future students, for September 2017, if possible either in the US, Canada or Australia or South Africa(as these countries are studied all year long) The idea is to find a penpal for each student (there will be 25 or 32 students in my four classes). The exchange will be made via both emails and snail mail (so as to make students study the format of a letter/postcard and improve their use of internet). This project includes collective emails/letters and individual exchange. Themes of writing can be : the educational system (similarities and differences ; school uniform, if any), habits and ways of life, discovering another culture (traditional bank holidays, music...) I'm opened to any other suggestions to complete the mail/letter exchange. If anybody is interested, please let me know !

I teach English in a Brand New HEQ public School situated in a small town called Beaupréau. It's called Lycée des Mauges if you want to take a look at it on the net.
