: "We Love Pen Pals"

Hi. I teach the USA in the state of Alabama. Our new school year will begin in August and I'd like my students to have pen pals from another country so we can learn about their country. We have had international pen pals found on this site for the last 3 years. We had a great time corresponding with them. My students will be in the 5th grade and are 10 or 11 years old. I will have around 25 - 30 students. Please let me know if you are interested

Hi,

I'm an English teacher from Normandy in France and I am currently responsible of 1 class of 32 students in Year 7 (they are 11 years old), 2 classes of 17 students in Year 8 (12 years old) and 2 classes of 18 students in Year 9 (13 years old). They are very curious about the USA and the English language, they would love to have American penpals. I have organized an exchange last year with 2 schools in England, my students can write letters / emails in English and receive letters from your students in French. They learn how to talk about their everyday life (family, activities, weather, subjects at school) in Year 7 and are also able to talk about the society and school in year 9.

Do not hesitate to contact me if you are interested in taking part in an exchange with 1 of my classes.

Regards,

Mélanie Porée

Hi Penny!

I teach in the South West of France, near the Atlantic Ocean. I'd like to set up a penpal programme with my two 6th Grade classes (about 50 students). I was thinking of sending actual individual letters or postcards, but also if possible videos and collective/class questions about the American school system...anything, really!
Please contact me if you are interested!

Hi Penny,

I'm Emilie. I just started teaching English to 11-14 year olds and I would like to find pen pals for my 11 year olds for a letter writing project about their life and routine. They are new to English so it would take me some time to get them to write a short email but I think I coud manage by november. Would you be interested?

Hi !!!
I'm very much interested and I would love to team up with you and your students !

First of all, let me introduce myself : I am a French English teacher at Collège La Boétie in Dordogne, France. We are a Comprehensive School of about 900 pupils aged between 10 and 15 years old. We are located in the heart of the Black Périgord, around Sarlat-la- Canéda.
Moreover, our school is one of the best schools in all the Dordogne department. We have been in the top 10 and have had among the best results to the «Diplôme National du Brevet» for the past 5 years both locally and nationally.
Languages at La Boétie are a priority and we can pride ourselves on offering one of the best language training as far as graduation towards Lycée is concerned. Some of our students pass Cambridge certifications with flying colors once in Lycée.
I have been working with two schools for ten years but unfortunately our partnership had to end, so I'm looking for new teachers to team up with !
