: "Beginning Spanish Students to Connect with Native Speakers Abroad"

Hello!
I will have about 120 beginning-level Spanish students this fall. I'm hoping to connect my students with beginning-level English learners to communicate electronically. All my students have access to computers. (At this time I'm unsure if they are able to use email to contact people outside of our school district, we may have to communicate within a shared Google doc.) I would like to connect with a teacher that would be willing to schedule time within their curriculum for student interactions (at least 4 times a year?). I would like my students to practice what they learn in Spanish class and then use English to respond to any questions that your students might have. Your students would be welcome to correspond with my students in English (to get their practice). Throughout the school year my students will be learning to discuss where they are from, their family, their school, their hobbies/past times, the seasons/weather, and sports.
