110744 - from Robert (USA) - 2016-04-23 High school : "Job Exchange" Hi all, I am a high school French teacher in Salem, OR on the west coast of the USA. I am looking for an English Teacher in a French-speaking country that would be interested in swapping jobs & housing for at least a year up to 3 or 4 years. Assuming that it would take some level of work and arrangement I would think the earliest possible time would be beginning in 2017-2018 school year. I would be more than interested by doing an exchange with someone in Oregon. But I don't live in France, I live in Quebec Canada which is also a very French environment. I live in Victoriaville which is an hour away from Quebec city and an 1 1/2hour from Montreal city. Iteach English in grade 9 and 11. I have 2 enriched group which is always a pleasure teaching and easy because they are self motivated. I would travel with my little family, is it the same for you? In my family, there is my husband, my son(8) and my daughter (6). We have a large house here with 4 bedrooms, a spa and a deep water pool. The subburbs is very peaceful but 1-3 km from everything. Please write me back soon to see if we can make this work. My main goal for this exchange is for my kids to go to English school for a year or 2 so that they can become perfectly bilingual. Lizanne
