: "Pen pals from sunny Los Angeles, California!!"

Hello from sunny Los Angeles!!!
I work with 120 students that are in grade 5 (age 10-11). I was hoping to find pen pals from another country that would like to send written letters throughout the year. We could learn more about culture, sports, food, and send several letters and form possible friendships between our students. If you are interested, please email me back. Our school year begins in September and ends in June.

If interested, we would need pen pals for 120 students.

Thanks! Marie

Greetings,

I teach reading with 6-8 graders in beautiful Minneapolis, Minnesota. We would like to exchange letters with students, and my kids would like to meet kids from southern California, New York City & beyond. My classes have between 10 - 15 students and are very excited about this possibility. Who's would like to join in the fun?!?!?

Hi, I am a seventh grade English teacher in a Chinese Middle school. My students age 12-13, I teach two classes English, and I have a total of 87 students.Their English are very poor. Now 17of them are eager to have international pen-pals and exchange knowledge of cultures, as well as practice their writing and literacy skills. They're going to have a very long summer vacation. I would like my students to learn more about the culture of similar aged students from another country. and trying to make a penpal is their homework. so I need your help. could you send your students' e-mail address to me? and I will collect my students' address soon, and send them to you. I look forward to hearing from you! My e-mail is jinghuili1985@163.com.

Hello Marie,
I am an English teacher in a private catholic school in the east of France and I teach 77 students between 10 and 12. I could ask my colleague Rachel who teaches another 2 classes of beginners. That could be around 120 students in total. They would be pleased to have an American penpal and to exchange letters, games, poems, recipes and so on. Please let me know if you are stiil looking for an exchange. Bye for now.

Hi Marie,

I teach a class of Year 5 students from Sydney, Australia and I reckon they would be really keen to start writing to children from across the other side of the world. There are 30 children in the class. Hoping to hear from you soon.

Tim.

Hello

My name is Catalina and I am an English teacher in Angers, in the west of France on the Loire Valley.
I am currently looking for penpals for my students ( I have levels 5th, 6th and 8th grande pupils).
For the beggining it would be some basic exchanges, like talking about their family, pets, food, about some holidays...
If your students study French, they can write in French and mine in English.
I hope hearing from you soon.
Kind regards

Hi Mary,

How are you?
I'm glad to have read your message today! My name is Tifaine, I am an English teacher at the Lycée Français de Madrid (Official French High school in Madrid) and I will be in charge of students aged (8-12), I would be very interested in organising this kind of exchange with you. I'd personnally have only 60 students, but I am sure I'd hav e other colleagues that would be really interested in the project.
The forte of our school is that it is a French one located in Madrid. We have a great variety of students coming from very different horizons, knowing as much about France as they know about Spain, and about how French culture is conveyed in foreign countries.
Please be in touch if you're interested!

Best,
Tifaine.
