Howdy from Utah!

I teach grade 9 (14-15 years old) Earth Science. I would like my students to write to English speaking students in the Southern Hemisphere (Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, etc.) about weather and climate in order to help my students understand that summer and winter happen at the same time but in different hemispheres. We'd also love to write to English speaking students at high latitudes (Alaska, Norway, Russia, etc.) to learn more about the hours of daylight at different latitudes.

I have 251 students (haven't you heard about the CRAZY class sizes in Utah?!?). Although my students are grade 9, I think they would benefit from writing to anyone in grades 7-12.

How are you? I am a teacher from Morocco; I teach English at a high school and I have started a penfriendship club.. we already started writing to a school in Texas. The students are about 9 now we looking forward to extend the club to more penfriendshipers.
If you are interested, we are here all ready to write and exchange. I have students of the age between 13-16.
