I am looking for American penpals for my 6th grade students (aged 11-12) I am an English teacher in Bordeaux, France. They are beginners in English so it'll have to be quite basic and simple. We are currently working on daily routines so they could first introduce themselves, ask about your students' daily routines and finally write about theirs. If you are up to it, on Thursday I'll have them write an introductory email for your students. We are a friendly family of students and teachers who live in the center of Ukraine, the country which is defending their sovereignty and freedom now. Some of our school leavers are in front and stand against the aggression. We would like to have friends and to collaborate with them by exchanging our interests, ideas and our passion to life and peace. I would like for my students to have pen pals with whom they can discuss interests, school subjects, and life in general. My students are from 12 to 13 years old . We have about 25 kids aged 11-16 and I would like to get them in touch with other kids their age to exchange emails, postcards, pictures, to talk about their Italian traditions and receive info from children around the world. If it's ok for you we can start with simple correspondence, postcards of our city and your kids send pics of them, your school and your city. This is the first time so I really don't know what to do.
