: "Around the World"

Hi! I teach special education for students in high school (ages 14-18). I am looking for international pen pals (via email and snail mail) to improve writing skills. I want them to learn about the world and different cultures; exchange post cards, pictures, etc. If interested, please contact me.

Dear Stephanie,

I'm a part time English teacher at a junior high / high school for children with special needs in Tokyo, Japan.
As you know, the 2020 Olympics will be held in Tokyo and the teacher I work closely with has asked me to help find pen pals for his high school students as a part of their preparations for the games.
It is our wish for the students to learn about other countries and their cultures through writing letters, postcards, etc.
We look forward to your reply.
Regards,
Graham

Hello,

My name is Brittany. I'm a special education teacher in Washington. I teach students with Autism. I would love to partner with you and your class to write back and forth. My students struggle with social interactions, and I believe that having a pen pal will not only increase their writing skills, but also improve social skills. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Stephanie
we are absolutely interested!
I'm an English teacher of a language school in Latina, just 60 km south of Rome, Italy.
We have about 25 kids aged 11-16 and I would like to get them in touch with other kids their age to exchange emails, postcards, pictures, to talk about their Italian traditions and receive info from children around the world.
If it's ok for you we can start with simple correspondence, postcards of our city and your kids send pics of them, your school and your city.
I would really appreciate if you can consider our project and let us know.
Awaiting for your kind reply,
Best regards
Lyna P. Mammaro
