I am a German teacher at an Irish boy school and looking for a good old fashioned pen pal exchange for my Transition Year group, which is a project based year for 15/16 year old students. Our school is based in Galway city in the west of Ireland, and our students would need to write in German, while the letters from Germany could be in either German or English.Thanks a million! Hi! Ich bin eine Deutschlehrerin an einer irischen Jungenschule und suche traditionelle Briefpartnerschaften für meine Übergangsjahrgruppe (ein projektbasiertes Jahr für 15 bis 16jährige). The Irish guests would be coming in the last week of November/first week of December and we would like to come in March starting in December 2024. We would like to start with a letter or e-mail exchange in June or August (before or after the summer holidays). Our students prepare their presentation sheets und Mai/June. Our students are 13-14 years old but if your students are a little bit older that is fine too. We already have partner schools in France and Poland. So we have gained a bit of experience already! 123779 - Reply from Johannes (Germany) - 2018-09-20 Hallo Anja, mein Name ist Johannes, ich bin Referendar für die Fächer Englisch und Geschichte an einer Schule in Berlin-Pankow (Tesla-Schule). Ich suche eine Englischsprachiche Klasse für meine 8. Klasse in Englisch. Das bedeutet das meine Schüler ca. 1-2 Jahre jünger wären als deine. Wäre das ein Problem? Ich fände es gut, wenn deine Schüler uns auf Deutsch schreiben würden. Meine würden auf Englisch schreiben, bzw. halb Deutsch/halb Englisch für meine leistungsschwächeren.
