Society : "Choosing a Job Profitable or a Job I Love"

How can one find a desirable job? This puestion puzzles nearly everyone. In practice, most people look for well-paid jods while a few search for jobs they love.If it is for me to make the choice,I won't follow either since both of them are extreme. Most people consider the amount of pay as an important or even the only condition when looking for jobs. They do so partly because they are aware of how important and powerful money is nowdays. With the money, they may improve their living conditions and enjoy their lives better.Besides, they think that the more money they earn, the more valuable they are and the more they will be respected by others. They don't care whether the jobs are relevant to what they have learned at school as long as they are well-paid.Nor do they consider how much delight the jobs give them.In fact, they will choose any job as long as this job brings them the greatest profits.A few people go to another extreme.they do whatever they love.Their ideal jobs must be in accordance with the fulfillment of their dreams. For them, jobs are not means of earning their livings, but ways of self-fulfillment.They hope to put their wisdom and ability to use and turn their dreams into reality.Or else they won't take those jobs which thay don't love at all.Howere, I will choose a job fit for me,that is, a job for which my learning has qualified me well. Thus,I will take it confidently and expect an early success in it.

I think that you should choose the job you love, Eason. People choose profitable jobs for the money... and to them money brings happiness. well, you can never be happy with money and nothing to love in life.

yeah, Eason.. you have got a real point. i do agree with you. and the scholar is also saying the right thing.. but what i have in mind is little biased to one side; "IT IS BETTER TO GET THE JOB YOU LOVE". you know, we all humans live in this world do get happiness, that's what i believe. that is the reason for our living. right? so i think getting a job that you love will make you happy. and the reason for getting a job and living is one same thing. which means you are getting a happy life.
That's my choice here.
but most of us may prefer to find job which gives you more money. i think people go for that choice because they think money is the thing which brings happiness to life. but it really is wrong. but choosing the job from which you can earn more money is neither a mistake, because money is also a road to happiness. (not the only road).

Some other people choose more money getting jobs' because they want to buy more things. from a child to the age where he works' and get money...he had seen many things he want..but was unable to buy those things. so he may bet his life on this and fight for money. (it is also a possibility)

OR may be they are too lazy to think about the choice they make, or else they are so confident that they believe their choice is will not be wrong. what they want from life is a wealthy living. yeah they do want a happy life too. but they don't know what real happiness is.

Hi, Eason.I agree with you ,but I have something different to share. To begin with, try to know yourself very well. It contains the scales of your knowledge, skills, personality traits, hobbies and health. Before finding jobs, you must have an entire acquaintance of yourself, what kinds of jobs you are good at or not¡£Secondly, you need to know the occupations and business that you are interested in Ask about the content of the job, the nature of the job and the requirements of the job. You can get this information from those who have took these kinds of jobs already, probably they could offer you a lot related and helpful information and advice in time. Besides, you could also get to the Internet to find more about the job description. On the other hand, you can get more indirect experiences from the failure lessons sometimes, which can prevent you from making the same mistakes ; and you can also learn successful experience that may greatly influence you in the future. Finally, try to sell yourself. In other words, make yourself impressive to others. On the basis of knowing yourself and work, you can start hunting. Hunting jobs is the process of getting people to know you. You can go to some links online, besides the information of the company, job requirements, work locations, and so on, you also need to set up a good image of yourself. Seeking jobs is much like selling goods. If you want your customers to buy your products, you must tell them how advanced the quality is , how reasonable the prize is, how valuable the service is. At the same time, you should always raise the confidence that I am sure I am competent to do this job. Then you can try to sell yourself in the interviews; probably your excellent performance could be the best way to show your competence and suitability.
