August 29 - July 2, 2011
June 29th 2011 Wednesday

In the morning my mom and I went to the library to pick up a movie
In a land of myth and a time of magic, a destiny of a kingdom rest on the shoulders of a young boy, his name -- MERLIN!

While in the library, I checked out a book about Nessie, a serpent in Loch Ness. [That's in Scotland] I also checked out a field guide to monsters; it's a book about monsters in legends and some believed to be real. Finally, I checked out some books about dinosaurs.

Later, mom took me to Walmart to pick up her brag book. A brag book is a small book that parents carry around to show other parents how cute their children are. My baby pictures were in that brag book. I came up with a joke that I was in grade one but those were all baby pictures. Here's one as close to grade one as it can get - my 1st birthday!

In the evening, my parents and I went to see a movie. I, sadly, had to eat dinner in the car because we were running late.

The movie [Larry Crowne] was about a man who got fired from his job and had to go back to college.[WOW!] I didn't like it that much because it had mature humor.

When we came home, it was too late to do anything else. But... I had five minutes to watch "Da-da, dadada-DA-da, dadada-DA-da, dadada-da"! You know what that is? It's

Then I had a snack and went to bed. That's all she wrote, folks! See you next time!

June 30 2011 (Thursday)

Today is my official MARIO Day!

I woke up this morning and thought I was in the mood for Mario. YES!

Right after breakfast I asked my dad if he wanted to play Mario Kart. He said he would love to. I was very happy because it's my MARIO Day! I suggested building a Lego Mario track. His answer was again YES.

But before we got to work we read some books about dinosaurs. One of the books was painful to read. It was Micheal Crichton's novel -

The Lost world?? Boy, was I lost!?

Then we set to work on our course. I wanted SNES 3 as a title; it's cool but it wasn't official yet. We worked on it almost the whole afternoon!

After we finished I played Mario Kart Wii on our flat screen TV. Guess what? I beat the Leaf Cup!!!!!!!!!!
We returned to our Mario course for one last race before bedtime and I won!

July 1, 2011 (Friday)

I was hoping today a more exciting day but nothing special happened. We started a Merlin marathon at home and we watched quite a few episodes of season two. I liked Merlin a lot especially there is a dragon in the show.

For the rest of the day, we just played Lego and read some books. Dad and I drew some more of the life size T-Rex head.

I found out Dad had cancelled our trip to San Diego. I was very disappointed!

But I hope we will still go to Disney World in the winter. I can't wait to visit Hogwarts and other Harry Potter's stuff.

July 2, 2011 Saturday

Hi again! This is how my day went today. All through last night I was thinking how I could unlock new tracks on Mario Kart Wii. I got a faint idea if I had a random character picked I might get a new track. Well I sure hoped so.
After breakfast you could guess were I went... LEGO MARIO TRACK!

Well I was very happy when I built a new terror, a robot that attacked if you knocked it over while racing.

This is Terror, created by Bowser - cybernetic creature made from fossil DNA

This is Donkey Kong Crossing:

This is a car for a Lego character called Reagle:

This is a car for king Kuhuka:

This is a car for a character called Scream:

I was still playing Lego Mario when Mom had to go to London Drugs. While my mom was driving her car a careless truck driver NEARLY HIT HER!!!!!!!!

Meanwhile, my dad and I watched (In a land of myth and a time of magic a destiny of a great kingdom rests on the shoulders of a young boy. His name... Merlin!)

In one of the episodes, there was this very ugly looking animal called the Wildren. It's an underground giant rat that was blind and hunted by scents. It could hack apart a human with beaver-like teeth. I couldn't find a picture of it online but it sure was ugly looking.

Finally, my mom came home and even bought me a golf putter, so I could practice putting in our backyard.
